mason22 ... LOL .. burned once / never twice ... in fact we brought 2 goons. One got popped 2 miles offshore :eek:

Midnight ... from what I saw, only 2 augered while vulching ... none during the JABO.

Raubvogel ... could have been ... we came in at 10K and traveled well over a sector to get there, so there was more than enough time to up some defense. It was fun nevertheless, all flying the same A/C in a pack is exhilirating.

Furious ... LOL ... sure did :rolleyes: ... just one MAW is all it usually takes. My Blacksheep squad mostly flys F6F / F4U / FM2. The Red Devils usually fly P-38s (they count). The Bulldogs (bomber squad) and marine bomber A/Cs ... well ... you know.

sling322 ... we have been trying mission with all the same A/C and N1Ks just happen to be one mission in our planners. Not that it's 40Dog's favorite ride has anything to do with it ... :D

Gainsie ...

The MAW is multiple squads with different duties. My squad is deack/vulch (that is why my pics basically show the airstrip) ... another destroys the town and VH ... another sets up an intercept perimeter ... another bombs ... another goons ... and the HQ squad members fill in on any squad. Simple and effective.

If you look at the pictures, you will see a handfull of A/Cs in the vulch pattern (not all of 20 of us). A handfull is to the north picking off incoming planes from a CV Group ... the others are working on the town. The pictutres show that CNMAW took out the P51, mars01 took out the B26 and I (myself) took out the 109. You won't see 5 MAW dive in on one vulch ... there is plenty of food for everybody at a Bishop/Rook base.

I noticed that too when I was taking these screen shot while watching the film. Its a bug in the film viewer.
