Top pilots...bleah...I don't think they'll be any surprises there  But we DO need some more maps, if not just for rotation.  Why not have a map building contest and the winner's maps not only get added to circulation, but a hearty cash award for their beer fund?

but then again, I'll go for anything that will get us new maps... except maybe learn how to do them myself

better to upgrade the current planes than to make lots of new ones!




dont give the money to  the guys that attack strat targets and fly at 5 am-7 am

give money to new maps for MA rotation, and add a SAAB please ; )

Sorry HiTech, with all the negative posts, whines over the issues with the Scoring system...I thought a suggestion over something every thinks we need [maps] would be a nifty idea.

But hey, call me kooky...twas just an idea

I think thats an excellent idea...or instead of giving cash awards, if your map is used, maybe a waiver of fees for a certain period of time.

maybe set up a special "trial" arena where maps are laid out and players fly and vote on which one they like, the maps however would not have identifying information from the maker so no one wins by "popularity of the maker" vote.

Great idea LePaul....now when these maps are submitted, can HTC subtract the man-hours that they have to spend making sure there are no errors and problems with the map from the prize money?
