Looking for Volunteer Trainers
« on: December 09, 2002, 11:40:52 PM »
I'm going to be redundant and post this several places.

I have posted a page where those willing to volunteer their time can provide some information.  It is located at:

http://www.netaces.org/ahtrainers/trainer.html

Information recieved through this page will then be posted onto a page where people looking for training can go and find someone with the skills and time slots they are looking for.  An example of that page is located at:

http://www.netaces.org/ahtrainers/training.html

My plan is to collect volunteer's info for a couple of weeks and then open the training request page around the 4th of January.

Until then, I welcome any suggestions to make this a successful venture for the AH community.

Hi Hammer,
This sounds like a great idea! I'm no fighter jock, so I signed up to coach the "basic flying" section. I've got takeoffs and landings down pretty pat, so should be able to get some of the new AH pile-its up to speed on the basics.
As well, I signed up for a buff coach position. I wouldn't dream of trying to teach any ACM stuff; that's where -I- plan on taking a course or two for myself. :)
Again, my compliments on a great idea!
