Can any of you guys give me more information on this airplane?
What I do know is that it is a 1937 Fairchild 24G. I heard it crashed after maintanence personlel forgot to tighten nuts on the wing bolts after the installation of the wings.

The next post is a pic of the I use to own. Mine was a 1937 Fairchild 24G SN# 2929 manufactured April 1938. Originaly purchased by the Bueru of Air Commerce as NC27.

Thanks Wmaker. That is actually where I fount it. I emailed the auther (about three years ago) and received the info I posted. I was hopping someone out there actually saw the plane or someones grandfather saw it it knew more about it.

There were only 90 "G" models built SN#s 2900-2999. No listings available for SN#s 2945-2954. Probably just a gap. Today there are less than 25 registered in the USA.
