Thx to everybody, You made it!

Once more: I want to thank you all for your flying in my FinRus terrain last week. It was the most funniest week of mine pilot "career" in AH!:D

The numbers of players was unbilievable sometimes and they was not only Finns... ;)

Me and couple of my flying bros from Finland are after that tour most of our time in CT making more population to it and having funny at the same time.

Also "Leijonat", "Lentolaivue 34" and "Vaasan Waakalentäjät" squads send the same greetings to "Out-Finns" pilots! And of course: to Russians, too! :D

Kanttori.

The work you did on this map was outstanding. It just proves quality takes time. I want to thank you for all your effort, and creativity you put in this. I've never made it any secret I'm no Eastern Front fan, but this map was a huge step up in the Aces High experiance. Again Well Done! This one will go down as a classic, I hope you'll consider doing other maps and setups as well.

Those guys were great Kanttori, this was a great week for me.  I posted the note on another board and several guys there dropped by, now they are all up in arms about the "unbelievable" FinRus map, the quality of play in CT, and what a handsome bastard I am.

Well, the rest is true anyways, and we may get some CT recruits out of it.  Again, terrific work and thanks a million.

WTG Kanttori!

Having been privileged to closely follow the development  of both you as a mapmaker and your map, I can't but admire your dedication to your creative work! Awesome! Usually one starts learning a new program by making something small and simple, but you started right from the top. Even the first versions we flew on H2H arenas were of decent quality, and with the new Terrain Editor you created a whole new way of using textures, breaking all ghost limits and setting them far apart. Thank you very many! :D

Also I'd like to thank all those who filled the roster this week on CT. Without you it would not have been more than an enlarged H2H session. If only there were more pilots other than Finns... I guess this was one of the very rare moments in international events hosted outside Finland, where we outnumbered the rest of the world! ;)  I hope to see all of you non-Finns again on this map, and don't hesitate to take your friends with you. It would be our pleasure to shoot you down... And our honour to be shot down by you :)

I'll just add my simple thanks to Kanttori, the "Finnish Hordes", and the rest of the CT community that made this a memorable week.  I'm only sorry I didn't have more time to fly this past week.  Thanks again!

My computer has been broken all week - I finally stopped trying to fix it and used the kids' computer to grab a few minutes before this fabled setup disappeared.  What a lovely map!  What a great plane set!  What a challenge it is to land at these airfields!  My thanks get added to all the rest.

S! Kanttori!

FinRus map enlight my fading Aces high fire again.

Lost of fun flying & fighting with Brewster a´la FM2 (A-hem! HTC).

Takeoff and landging was one part of fun. Those perkeleen threes cost to me few planes

Bring Brewster to Aces high :)

That is the best terrain in the AH set, no doubt.  I suggest HTC take a close look at the object density and placement.  It felt VERY historical.  Also the tree edges at the airfields will be sorely missed in future setups.
