AMD Athlon or Conexant Prob w AH?
« on: December 22, 2002, 02:30:13 PM »
A squadie (T2MAW) had mentioned that after reviewing many sys specs he noticed many that used the Athlon processors experienced more probs than others with AH. Is there a connection to AH and it's lag and disco probs due to these processors?
More importantly, if so is there a fix?

I thought my prob was with my conexant modem. I am unable to play even Red Alert on the net w/o huge lags and then a disco from game and then an immediate boot off the net.
Does anyone else use this modem and if so have you experienced any probs with it or the processor?

Here my specs if anyone could give some advice.
Please ask if more info is needed.

isn't red alert is turn based?  lag plays no part if it is.  the rate of which AH is trasmitting data to you is a lot higher than red alert.
