nice formation... but not very practical or safe to fly that close in microgravity with full thrust being applied.  you would almost have to have a network linking all ships so that they all thrust at the same exact moment, and a computer making tiny thrusts to maintain position.

It's airshow pretty, and with conventional aircraft in atmospheric fight, it would be a good way to concentrate firepower on a large target.  But in space, you don't really have to have your nose pointed at what your shooting, so wouldn't you want to have your ships dispersed a bit more for safety?

I'm just giving you a hard time.  Nice pic, nice model. :)

The ships are from Babalon 5.

The game is a freeware space flight simulator alot like Microsoft Flight simulator.  Very complex, but no combat.  I added the StarFury fighters because they're a favorite of mine.

I am currently adding the Millenium Falcon for fun right now.

Nope.  There is always room for improvments to the models.  Glass for instance.

Instead I've decided to start making more models.  Different models.  Like space stations and such.

Well, I did the flight model too, if you can call it that.  The flight model just simply has the Millenium Falcon with main, retro, and hover thrusters.  It won't fly areodynamically.  It does have a long lasting fuel supply and alot of thrust.  Wings are not needed.

In fact test flying it I actually started to get re-entry flames over the ship's hull while in a shallow climb.  Thats alot of power.
