Account specific Bulletin boards?

I know that HTC has had some difficult times with the BBS lately. Why not do what WW2 online has done and only allow those who have an account to post in the general forums.  You could have a separate forum for New Players and HTH that would not require an account for those "outside" the wall.

I agree.  I am sure that Skuzzy and HT have better things to do with their time than babysit the BBS.

however this measure would not have helped them lately, as the offenders were indeed account holders.

Hardcase was not an account holder.

Yes there are plenty of offensive posts that have been made by subscribers. I'm not sure I like the idea of a subscribers only forum. Aces High has always been such an open community and generally this is not abused (apart from certain people recently) shutting the boards to those who don't subscribe I feel would only lead to the community stagnating. Personally I hope HTC do continue to take a hard stance against offensive posts but keep the forums open. The AH boards IMO have always been a subtle mix between the sometimes overly moderated iEN boards and AGW whose off topic has become a forum for racial intolerance and the general forums a free for all wild west scene. I come here to read about Aces High, read suggestions perhaps help where I can in the hardware forums and laugh at some of the funny posts in off topic but lately I've spent less time here actually reading more like just passing by which is a shame.
