Couldn't agree more, Zeiram. The endless possibilities that supply inderdiction would bring is exciting. Whether it be a truck convoy, trains or even a "Tokyo Express" destroyer group bringing supplies for the troops, it would add the next natural dimension to AH(not to mention be a huge coup that other sims can't duplicate).

Imagine using your B-26 in a tactical role, bombing bridges and raiway centers. Imagine tearing up large truck convoys in your rocket-equipped Typhoons and Thunderbolts....

I'm ready for supply and supply interdiction, are you?

Great ideas Zeiram

I have something to add

Lets add some "water" and "storage" strategy to this game:

Lets separate countries by water. There should be several ports on the coast of each country. Ports probably will be the most important strategic targets. Capturing the enemy port is similar to capturing the airfield. To make captured port operational you should deliver several ferryboats and transports to fill the port's storages. These storages are needed to continue invasion into enemy territory. Delivering CVs sure would not be easy tasks. CVs could be destroyed by air attacks and by attacks of naval vessels (battle-cruisers, destroyers, torpedo-boats, submarines). Acoustic mines could also add some more problems. So to capture enemy port your country should get the air&sea superiority first in this local area.
After the port is captured and restored to full operational conditions it's the right time to think about invasion deeply into enemy territory. The railroads could help a lot in delivering ground vehicles from ports to the front lines. But the main role of railroads is to supply airfields and v-fields. The captured airfields and v-fields are also unoperational until they started in getting supplyed from the nearest port/city by trains. City/port automatically sends trains to the airfields/v-fields. If the train doesn't arrive in time the airfield become temporary unoperational. If the railroad bridges are destroyed the train stops waiting the railroads become operational.  If you captured the airfield that can't be supplyed this field can't become operational and would be probably lost quickly. Cities should play the role similar to ports (railroad nodes and strategic supplyers). They also can be captured/restored as ports and airfiels.

If your country lost all the  operational airfields the war is lost.

If your country lost all the operational sities and ports your airfilds become unoperational and the war is lost.

If the railroad network of your country is completly paralized (there are no ways to deliver trains from cities to airfields) the war is lost.

This kind of strategy will probably bring some variety to the game with plenty of targets and some different strategic ways of getting victory.

note: The map should be developed very smartly to provide the interesting gameplay.

I'm always for more detail, but then my system hasn't been brought to its knees yet.

I'd love to see this stuff.

HTC already have announced sea units (CV, cruisers, destroyers, torpedo-boats, etc)
Aper your idea is excellent for next generation AH.

We don't need them if they are just objects.
All units must be well organized and operated for the clear purpose.

Fleet deliver supply from port to port and train or truck are waiting for them
Those units deliver to Factory or fields.

U-boot try to stop, destroyers try to terminate U-boot.
AirForce try to attack destroyers and CV protect them.

It's linked like a circle and never ending.
that why we can enjoy forever.

AH has already excellent flight model and flexibility.
The reason is HTC & Pyro is not only a good business man but also good gamer who loves AH.
It is a big differences between IEN and HT
I believe HTC door is always opened and they surely pick up something interesting.
There are many players who are very versed in Flight model and damage model in AH
and they help HTC to brush up AH more and more to the best of best combat flight sim.
I really hope some of you guys can put your brilliant idea from the view of War Game
into AH in order to be the best War Game too

Thank you guys
I think that all of you have same mind like
"Put ourselves into dynamic campaign in AH world every night!"

We want to feel "I am fighting a part of that.
