Each month in the "le Fana de l'aviation" there is such drawing and I've tons of "Fana" at home but not enought time to scan all  :)

Btw Jean Barbaud is currently finishing a book with a lot of drawing  called "gueulle de zinc for about 28.50 Euro.

Hehehe ty Straffo, I forgot about cartoonists since I'm in the US. I'm surprised I didn't see a comix with Batman flying a Lanc while Magneto attacks in a FW.

I recall from France a "guelle de zing" type but with not the same cover. It was all WW2 oriented. This one contained a Zero making the the characteristic holes in the dive flaps of the devastator. Or is it the same one with a different cover?

Anyway, if anything on the P47, you have to post it hehehe  :D

When I'm rich I will have to buy those.
Dat jugs bro.

Terror flieger since 1941.

I love those comics.   :)
Best part is he really has an eye for detail on the planes.  Markings are always historically correct, etc.

This one is still my favorite of course.  It actually looks pretty similar to a scene at the WBPC Con when Northolt Wing provided "refreshments".   :)

Tailcode is slightly altered to match my personal ride.  Apologies to Mr. Barbaud.   :)

I don't now of the other book ... I've seen the drawing but in a Fana I believe.
Btw I will dig a bit to see if I can see a P47 by Barbaud  :)
