Congratulations WldThing!,

Great fights!  Our Monthly event took almost four hours to complete...  Results are posted.  We had 32 pilots, and had some rolling in the whole time.  It was a blast as always.

Another event that turned out to be a ton-o-fun!!!
to WldThing for the win and another to BigMax for being the host.
I was kind of 'leery' on the 163 round but with the no cut-off engine rule it presented an 'urgency' that the other rounds didn't have. Even though I had to bail due to a no fuel situation, I wouldn't change the cut off rule.
Also a to the other flyers that attended and gave us things to shoot at... or get shot from :)

Tic tic tic.... can't wait fer the month to go by.

In retrospect, I think if we do 163s again I'll adjust the fuel burn rate to give you guys more flying time.... Sound good?

No..i still think we should let the eng cutoff thing go for  me163's...

I cant think of 1 reason not to...

It would be fair to every1...and represent what you can do in the MA

Extending fuel...i feel is the same thing as eng cutoff...

I really cant understand why eng cutoff be banned...

That way . we dont need a "baby-sitter / warden" to listen for eng cutoff...

just Straight forward....Go and fight....eng on or eng off...its up to  you....

 I thought i was done after my DSL crapped out on me, luckily it started back up, woulda sucked if i waited for a WHOLE month and DSL stopped on that same night...

Was fun all around,  but i gotta admit the G bug is a good thing :D

Further cogitations on the 163 engine cut-off.
Those little things don't have much ammo and with the limited fuel there are two fight-lenght limiting factors. We could bump the fuel burn rate a tad, not too much, and still have that ammo factor come into play and 'thin the herd' so to speak. Still keep the fight time shorter than most other fights to keep that 'urgency' that it had.

There has been much discussion about the engine toggle... I think changing fuel burn is much more preferable to changing the rules for one plane type.  The engine toggle thing has been beaten bloody, let's not start it up again please...

I say next time, if his DSL goes out and he has a win or two, we pretend it just ended and log off for five minutes and relog back in after he logs off and restart where we left off.
We tried ACM to beat him... didnt work.
We tried 'The Force' with same results.
