Sound and screenshots

When I run a film all I get is my plane engine idling, is there a way to get the sound from the film. And I cant take a screenshot viewing a film either.

You can view the film in the regular AH executable and get all the sounds of the game and take screenshots.

it wont let me take screenshots, and all I get is my engine idling

And why is the film so blurred when we change to avi? Would be nice if we could get a quality film we dont have to view with the Ah viewer.

Ask in the bug/tech support forum then, cause something is buggered if you run the normal AH progrm and run the film through there and still cant take screen shots and only hear ideling engine.

In the seperate viewer program, the quality of the capture depends greatly on the resolution and (even more importantly) on the compression coedec and setting you choose.  I can get a razor sharp capture, but a 1 min avi would be 150 megs....so losing a little quality is usually a good thing;)

Ahhh, I see. To get a sharp film you will eat up alot of space. What do you use to get a sharp film?, codec and all. I try to use animation shop but anything over 40 meg won't open.
