Wait...what happened to the plan to invade Canada? Shouldn't we annex our contiguous neighbor to the north before trying to integrate a society of people who drink warm beer? Let's get our priorities straight! At least Canadians know how to play football and baseball correctly and haven't changed the names to rugby and cricket!
Lol crow. Of course cricket was invented before America was discovered by Columbus, and Rugby predates the declaration of independence by some 30 years, so you're wrong on bith counts!;)
Being divided by a common language means that the same word means two different things:
In the US beer means - insipid low alcohol bevereage, highly carbonated and chilled to -4 deg c to lessen the chance of any taste seeping through.
In England at least, beer means rich, tasty living brew, straight from the cask, with a complex flavour and a long finish, and an alcohol content that would make any 'Bud' drinker fall flat on his face after 5 pints.
We used to have great fun when we discovered many americans and europeans take cider to be non-alcoholic.
"You don't want anything too strong? Try some local cider, very nice" (9% abv and full of heavy metals!)
