My father left twelwe years ago, suddenly, in a sunny  afternoon, two month before I was becoming a "father".
My biggest regret is that I 've realized whats the meaning of "being a father" only when he was gone.
Only tardily I've really known all   he made and  felt for me...
there have been less words between us, but now I know what a great man he was  to me....

Sorry Animal, its a great loss for you; the best thing you can do, is  to remember  all the moments  you had with him and keep forever your shared feelings.

Animal,

Sorry about your loss. In a way I envy you. You got to grow up and be with your Dad for a fair amount of time. Treasure the memories.

DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

As long as you remember, he'll be around.
