Is there a reason that only allies have fleets in this CT arena?
They sit off our bases and shell with impunity.

LW had tons of E-boats, destroyer groups etc, in that same theater, so......  Where are they?

The least you designers can do is put in port batteries to counter the Allied fleets.

Their should be Axis MTB's and Fleats enabled, Their are also Stuks at ever Axis field and a 4K bomb will sink any CA in a single hit.

I think you are missing the point I was trying to make.

In my case:  I don't think it's very much fun flying the Stuka, or any other JABO plane for that matter, 20 times just to hit one target successfully, so the rest of air warriors can enjoy a good furball without some schmuk running his fleet in for a flak barrier just because he can.

That smacks of grief playmanship in mine and many others books.

If you enable fleets for one side, ther must be a counter blalance to that fleet for the other side.

1. Port Batteries
2. Destroyer fleets
3. PT's (though to be honest I haven't found PT's very effective in AH, vs the RL counterparts.  Then again, I haven't taken the time yet to research the statistics on it so...).

Should be available for both sides where you anticipate fleet actions in capturing bases.  Anything less is just poor planing on the CT arena managers part.

That is what I'm saying.  And no, I am not the proverbial score potato, but I do enjoy a good fight in the air.  I can JABO pretty much any field pretty good, and after three weeks in game, am learning how to level bomb a target.

IMO - JABO, or any air attack against fleets is a waste of resources in the game.  Way to costly in aircraft on my part, which defeats my efforts to land each sortie.

Now do you understand?  Oh, and thank you for replying above.

Point taken. I'm contemplating reducing the number of CV's to just 1.  That is a balanced option as there are no destroyer fleets in this map.  Will decide by tomorrow.

shades of Mr. Roberts!:D   Thank you for adding a counter fleet to the Axis side, and removing one of the CV's from Allied's.   While Fleet Barrier Flack is still around, at least it isn't as prevalent as earlier in this set up.

Now we have a well balanced arena, IMHO.

BTW - Not naming names, but someone flying Mossies...

...near V51 the other night sure showed a lot of folks how effective that wooden wonder is in taking/suppressing bases. ;)

Thanks again for listening, Mr. FORK! *S*
