What's the point of the post?

Unless your showing everyone how to prepare it so it can be eaten, pretty pointless IMO.

And yes, I do hunt, deer, rabbit, bird.  But I eat what I kill.  No point in killing something just to kill it.  Not even for the pelt.   No rush in that, especially a coyote.

You want a rush, go after a Kodiak bear........

with a sharp stick :D

Post a pic of that, THEN I'll be impressed.

The only good coyote is a dead coyote!  Coyotes kill more deer in the state of ohio than hunters do, by 10 fold.  If you see a coyote and have the means, speed him on his way.  a "sniper-esque" rifle is great and efficent for eliminating those little beasts, one of the best shots ive made is when still-hunting (wandering slowly through the woods, stalking) jumped a coyote from the opposite side of a thicket maybe 10 yards away.  I was very surprised i got that close to a coyote!  he jumped and took off in a rust colored blur and making like billy the kid drew my .44 magnum and dropped it in one shot.  Anyway, keep cleaning out the coyotes, way to go.

2 hikers in woods..

1st hiker: "what do we do if a bear attacks?"

2nd hiker: "i'm wearing running shoes"

1st hiker: "you can't out run a bear!"

2nd hiker: "i don't have to out run the bear , i only have to out run you"

Coyotes are vermin.  They kill livestock, they kill pets, they kill game animals.  If you have them on your land then you want them dead or gone.  Nice shooting medicboy.

killed a few when I was a kid. (you used to get $ for the pelt plus bounty money on coyote ears, not sure if you get bounty anymore).

as far as the 'rush' from them 'hunting you', hardly.  not much different than killing a rabbit.  both run from you with or without the gun. not exactly scary.  about all we have in the US  that is a real danger to the hunter is bear, boar, and elk.

Jeepers, anyone can shoot a Coyote.  Hell, even a roadrunner can take one of those guys out, don't you watch TV?

For a rush, try blasting through the Santa Monica mountains on a motorcycle.  I've gone through some turns that were hundreds of feet above sea level that looked out over the Pacific...  with no guard rails.   When you do that corner at 50-60 with your knee touching the pavement, that, my friend, is a rush.
