I don't know about fighter planes, but in a UH-1, all I ever heard was WHOP-WHOP-WHOP-WHOP-WHOP-WHOP

Real or not, I gotta say that having those sounds would make the game more injoyable.

I also like the idea of a previous poster about having to warm the engine.

There is so much yet that can be added, selecting what I would like first is difficult. If forced to chose, I would say roads and bridges for the ground vehicles vs the spawn point 2 miles from a base.

Don't want to hijack the thread so I'll stop here. Oops, maybe I already did. Sorry.

Check some of the sites with AH sounds. I had a good 109 start up fire that sounded exactly as you describe.

Woo hoo you know it.  The second most awesome flight I've ever been on, I made the mistake of saying to the UH-1 pilot "I thought you said you were gonna show us what this thing could do?" hahahah....Only time I ever barfed with a smile on my face.

Ahhhh..but can you simulate a rip snorting in the forest?  And if a Rip did snort in a forest, would anyone hear it?

Great news HT! And you folks won't believe the immersion factor when you start hearing ambient noise, not sure how much is going to be implemented, but nothing will beat sitting on the runway with engine, and eharing your squadmates sarting up their engines. WooooHooo!

And for those diehards who dont believe it should be in there, just turn those sounds effects to zero.
