to Pipz for the best 1v1 I've had in a long time! 51 v 51 mid teens alt down to the deck classic dogfight with advantage being switched at every turn. As always, film was off, but at the end it was Pipz coming out victorious after a well executed scissors. No excuses, no warps, just the better pilot won.
With the overstuffed arenas we've had it was great to have the opportunity to do something like that without interruption, THAT is what this sim is all about to me.

Pipz, sorry if I ever vulched ya.... well kinda anyway...

On the same topic, I wanted to say thanx to sax. For putting up with my high spirits and good natured ribbing. I rarely engage in ch 1 chat, maybe twice a year. Something about cliping his f4f's tail and him failing into a unexplainable sink hole set me off. That encounter led to 2 of the best sorties I've had in a long time with 9 and 10 kills.

But my point is that personal competition that I set up in my own mind made the engagement much more exciting. Thank you sax for not taking too personal my ch 1 ribbing. I'll try to keep it under control

And to the la7 missing an arelon that saved Sax's butt once... AWESOME fight. Was a rolling deck fight that lasted almost 3 mins in roll after roll after roll. I got so dizzy!

Do not you love when such fights happen? Where both has good skills, equal planes, and agressive enough to fight, usually it stays in memory for a long time. I have simular story, yesterday I came to the deacked field in la7, saw 202 on the runway, and after a long fight killed him before he was able to get up. ~~684568, that was great fun!~~

Your ribbing didn't bother me at all putz:)
Was great fun learning new but ineffective reversals.

Kinda reminds me of the beta days, where most everyone was quick to throw a "GK" or ~~at the end of a fight, damn I miss those.~~

Had a good one today, they just sorta appear out of all the chaos at the strangest times. You keep expecting someone to jump in and ruin it, they're all around but you go ignored. When they happen it's the best.
