yah, no kiddin. flim clip was up in here last year. had a 100+ post string attached to it.

i was commenting on how much fun they must be having with 'em every night over the Republican Guard positions NOW in Iraq. Gotta be demoralizing as all hell to have the AC130's camped out on yer bellybutton all night, with Apaches and Warthogs slappin the **** outta yah all day.

like i said. things that make yah smile. ;)

Well i wouldnt like to be the conventional Flak88 AA firing on that predictable flight path either..I think the SAM option is pretty much unavailable to the frontline troops.


I hope they release similar videos from the Iraq operation.

There is one clip of a 1000 pounder slamming into a dug in T-72..have you seen that one? The one where there is a guy on the ground running like crazy a couple of secs before impact?

And its not even an AC-130 Cam, I believe its Predator-Cam.

The AC-130 was flying high, hence the miniguns couldn't be used, and the Predator was doing target acquisition.
