suave, yer not thinking about it. the claws on one paw cannot support the weight of the cat being flung around without the claws being ripped out, assuming that was a 'toy' and not a fishing lure. either way, the cat was maimed at the least, terrorized certainly, and the bastard set out to do it.

I also hate cats so, maybe that's why I find it even more funny.

For the gentleman who suggested that this would just give kids more ideas on how to be cruel to animals, I suggest that this person is not familiar with the depths of casual cruelty that every child is capable of. A child is amoral (not immoral, but simply unable to comprehend right and wrong at times) and anyone who works with or raises children should know that kids do not need to see this video to learn how to be cruel to a cat.

I assure you, the imagination of a kid is capable of conceiving of far worse, and they routinely do.

Snopes just says its not an official Nokia commercial... not that the commercial is fake.

I gotta side with big gay hangtime on this one. The act was deliberate and can't be seen as anything but cruel... even if faked. It reminds me of the dip****s who used to tell stories of burying cats up to their necks then getting out the lawn mower or swinging them by their tails till they're dead. Dunno if they did it or not... but just talking about it the way they did earned a couple of "sick ****" labels for them. Wow... imagine the fun they would have had with the video phone.

Hang, DjV and I are in total agreement.

However, the cat thing is faked. If ya slow it down you can see the cat kinda.....warp a little just before it starts swinging......ie replaced by fake cat. But they're still stupid tossers for making the clip in the first place.

'S true. It's a fake.

And how many of you think that a cat would just "swing" around like that like it's a joy ride with a few "meows" here and there. I think the cat would be hissing and screeching and flailing like some feral animal (which cat's are). So there.

Looks like most of you have more 'feelings and emotions' than common sense. Kinda like a big gay think tank gone horribly, horribly stupid.
