How can I use the F Key Views in the main arena. I can only use the in cockpit views from the keypad-is this normal or am I missing something?

u miss notting : the external Views works  only with bombers
if u fligth a figther u can look around only from your cockpit
and same with vheicle

Remember that you can customize your incockpit views though to make them better than the defaults and you can map them to buttons/hat on your controller.

While holding a view button (like numberpad 2 for rear), use the arrow keys on your keyboard, along with Page Up/Page Down to move your head position, and while still holding the view, press F10.  That saves your head position so that any time you use the rear view again it will be in your custom position.  You need to do this once on each plane for each view and they are saved from that point onwards.
