lovely looking terrain, but ack is friggen ridiculous.  I was grabbing alt in a niki and all of a sudden i was surrounded by black puffy ack.  I couldnt see anything!

too much ack = no fun fights
I am not ashamed to confess that I am ignorant of what I do not know.

Kanttori, is removing some of the ACK clusters from the island, so this should help things in this regard.

Look for the update Monday or Tuesday.

The Okinawa map is built both CT and SEA. SEA's CM Aub and Tilt asked me to create there many Mannable/auto Ack Batteries around the main isle, because in historically there were 100 000 Japanese, Artillery, Acks and many Tanks digged in the ground especially in the south part of Okinawa Island.

Here's the Ack batteries locations (Three guns triangle: 1 x Mannable 37 mm, 1 x 30mm and 1 x 20 mm):

Batteries are owned by the nearest field and they are always close to Airbases or V-bases. They are also near the other base's GV's spawns. When Allied capture the "Mother Fields" the Ack Batteries follow them. Capturing fields from Okinawa Island helps Allied players situation there! :)

The five historically Airfields (Ie Shima, Yontan, Kadena, Machinato and Naha) have only 1/3 of their historical 88 mm Acks. Ack Batteries are located almost to the same places in this map where they were 60 years ago.

This map is 1:1 but the fields still are very near each other in the south part of Okinawa Island. That's why there is almost everywhere 88 mm explosion clouds in the south.

There are historical two big Carrier Fleets (C1 and C2 have 4 Carriers, 2 Cruisers and 9 Destroyers) and Two big Cruiser Fleets (C5 and C6 have 4 Cruisers and 9 Destroyers). As you can understand the Fleet's ack is HEAVY over them. Destroying Carriers and Cruisers helps Axis players situation! ;)

Here's the Shore Batteries locations:

The little "Reserve Airfields" on the isle's around and NE from Okinawa have about the same amount of acks than AH's default "Small Airfield". Reserve Airfields and V-bases don't have 88 mm Batteries.
