My Opinion On the Next Planes in AH
« on: June 20, 2000, 10:21:00 AM »
There have been plenty of posts regarding which planes should be next on the list for HTC to create for us.

I think that although the planes which saw limited action should be created at some time, HTC ought to focus the majority of their efforts on the planes which saw extended action in the theaters of war.  I am REALLY looking forward to the scenarios which are inevitable once the terrain editor becomes available.

Sure the planes which saw limited action would be fun, but the thing Im looking forward to most are the scenarios!  Give us the historical matchups!

At the risk of belaboring the obvious, in order for AH to have historical match-ups, there must also be historical arenas.

Specific fighters were used for specific regions of the world during WW2 (ie; F4U in Pacific, P51 in Europe, etc.).  Very unlikely to see this in its truest form due to the current senario in AH.  Country would have to fly against country and each would have to do so in its own special arena (such as the Battle of Midway arena, or the Battle of Britian arena and so on).

I like he idea of historical match-ups, but its not fesible under the present circumstances.
