166 year old gun

My dad finally went and took some pictures of his colt-patterson.  Barrel is only 3 inches long, caliber .28.  This was the first model colt-patterson made (1837).  Serial number is somewhere between 1 and 500.  Story is that my grandmothers great-grandfather gave this gun to her, and she gave it to my dad.
