That is good news. I got a fondness for the guy. It's true I think... if he wanted to he could become a celebrity of some sorts... as he's just too funny...

I don't think anyone holds anything against him... But I dunno....

Could he do a Barbera Walters interview etc., or would there be people or some groups that would be pissed and hold him as much accountable for all the Iraq bs? Like, to me, he's above the war, Hussein, the Iraq atrocities etc. I wonder if generally that's how most folks see it.

Well, just need to wait till hes recovered from his depression and begins to find a new place in his life..
I mean, hes been in saddams regime and now its all gone and he dont know wtf to do...
Perhaps he will light up and find the call of capitalism welcome aka go find a job from TV.

I guess a big part of any post-war transition for him has to do with how much he actually bought into the regime and the absurd things he was saying.

It would be great if he could chuckle about it all and say "Whaddya kidding me? Of COURSE it was lunacy... it was all I could do to keep from laughing my ARSE off up there... But what can I say, the money was shrecking GREAT."

Conversely... if he ends up speaking of "Yankee pig-dogs" that would be a complete shame. I'm sure we'll find out... guarunteed that we aint the only ones who'd love to see him get in front of a mic of some sort again. Probably just a question of who gets him first; Koppel or Couric.

Hmm that's weird. Last info I got on this guy is that he actually surrendered to US troops but he was sent home because he wasn't considered important, and that was more than a month ago.
