Will WB sounds work in AH

Does anyone know if WB sounds will work in AH?  I've got some sound packs from when I played WB with some sounds that are far better than what I've found for AH that I'd like to use.

are they mono wave files? (hell with a little tweeking european air war sounds work) but no use for them;)

I finally got them to work.  It seems like the sound system in WB and AH are very similiar, if not the same.  The only difference seems to be in the naming of the files.

I've pretty much converted the sounds that I wanted for the P-38 and amd working on some of the general sounds like ack and explosions.

The P-38 sounds right now only contain the engine, 20mm cannon and stall sounds.  The .50 cal, ack (both finished but not tested in-game), bomb, flaps and rockets will be finished by the end of the week.


P-38 sounds

To get the best sound, you'll have to fiddle with both the individual sound volume as well as the master volume to get the proper sound volume.

Hey Zrooster   I think i Know ya  think we did work together  In NJ

I have taken wave files from many games and use them in AH I seen mp3 sounds converted them to wave at AH specs and they all seem to work

Hey Ack Ack I do have some good P-38 sounds.   Figured since your a 38 driver you might like to have them.   Good sounding drone with a touch of turbo charger sounds.  If your interested let me know where I can send them.

and i set up one for the p38 startup after hearing "glacier girl" starting up on the history channel. you know that sound of a fly wheel winding up to speed before a clutch engages to spin the motor(dont ask yet...dont have it quite right yet);)

Unfortunately I haven't been able to find any good P-38 specific start up sounds so I still use Mitsu's P-38 start up sounds.  If you have any or know of any good start up sounds for the P-38, please by all means holler and say where.
