nice! that is one beautiful spit, shame we didnt get the bubble canopy spit14 in AH.  Blenheim is a nice looking plane too!

Beat me to it :) Just got these back from the chemists 1/2 an hour ago. I should have gone on Sunday looking at your pics, low cloud all day Saturday combined with Wad's bad-from-a-photographers-POV South facing display made for not the greatest of pictures. A few A2A pics from Saturday:

yeah sunday was best day by far, i was watching the weather closly the tuesday b4 and was told that sunday was total sun all day

if u want i have an extra extra larger than large pic if u want it:)  1200x1600 or the other way round:D

also i havent seen russian air force in many airshows n uk recently

hey, is that a spit with a 360 degree view windshield?? never saw that before, thought it only had the bubble cap :confused:

Some late production Spitfire IX's had bubble hoods, spit XIV did too, as did XVI + postwar spits. Probably more wartime versions had them too.
