The other night, I engage a P38. Starts out as a good fight. I just start to get angles on him when I do a quick 6 check. Dayum! A P51 diving on me. I don't get outta the way quick enough and he takes my left aileron. I evade the next couple of passes of the 51 and his wing, another 51. (I'm thinking, hmmm, these 51's tactics sure look familiar).

I'm about to get away when the P38 I was first engaged with is 500 yards and closing...fast. Try to do a barrel roll. Oops. Forgot about the missing parts. (Barrel rolls are hard without all your parts). Wham! P38 runs smack into me.

As is most apparent. The dufus? That'd be me.

So the point of the story was the 38 driver was a stud, just because he was in a 38?

Man! I bring up the index and see my name in lights, followed by “dufus” and then see it started by Apache. What a quick range of emotion I tell ya. Starting off with “Damn, what’d I do to Apache"

Hell I have to have some advantage Apache... Being 20K+ in a shinny new mustang isn’t enough

Oh and by the way, those really aren’t wing tactics, we’re just all trying to take each others kills and it happens to work out well .

Actually Slap , Zip had been steelin my kills all nite so when I saw the spitty on his 6 I let it go till ya killed him. I then snuck up on ya and shot you down and Rude proceeded to steel my kill.

Those Kansas boys are mean and dirty and deserve every thing bad that comes there way
