Hello all!
I'm looking forward to this West Coast Mini Con in October and am really excited at geeting a chance to meet all these annonymous guys I have known on the BBS and the game. I hear MiniD, Pongo, Rip among other battle hardened BBS/MA veterans are coming down - hell even that bastard Animal might show up - so it's gonna be great. This will be a first Con for me, so it's even better and even more excting. Plus Funked and Mietla have set up some killer events, like the airshow day with our own luxury box seats
and the hotel is awesome for you out of town folks!
Anyway as a first time con goer, I was a little bit uncertain about how the registration process and payment would be handled, but I was pleasently surprised with how well the PayPal based registration system played out. I never used PayPal before so I had concerns about setting up an account and so on, however it was damn easy to set up, if you dont have one, you can autmatically create a Paypal account when you click the register button at the con website and the whole process takes only a few minutes including the time to pay with a credit card on their secure form. I was blown away with how slick it was, and wanted to let anyone else know who might have had similar questions.
This is gonna be great!
