Just listened to the "Allman Brothers at the Filmore East - Live", and "Stormy Monday" is some of the best blues ever played. :)

Well, Beethovens 9th definitely needs to be near the top of the list, as does Benny Goodman's arrangement of the combined "Christopher Columbus" and "Sing Sing Sing" (Gene Krupa may not have had the depth and soul of, say, Philly Joe Jones, but he could swing).

Isn't it "Ride of the Valkrye?"


I also like the 1812 overture. Mozart also has some very good symphonies out there.
