Consider Minnesota, nothing poisinous here, a few rattlers supposedly in southeast corner, but almost unheard of. Never heard of a poisinous spider, bug etc in the woods here. About the only thing to worry about is the deer tick carrying Lyme disease, but even that is not very common, and can be treated.
Of course, it is 10 degrees F out right now and we just had 6" of snow in the last 2 days.
But, our Spring, Summer and Falls are better than anywhere else, and alot of Minnesotans love snowmobiling, ice fishing, skiing, etc.
all in all, a mighty nice place to live, and no freaking snakes.
