Weekly Events (Aug 25-31)
« on: August 26, 2003, 06:17:29 PM »
Gents and Ladies  :)

Firstly, several new CMs have joined us recently - asw and gatso are now part of the CM Terrain Team; Estes is now part of the Thursday Snapshot team with Seeker and Camo; and Nefarious returns to be part of the Scenario team.  :)

Pyroman starts this week's events tomorrow at 2200 Eastern - details not yet known.

On Thursday at 1500 Eastern (2000 UK/2100 CET), the Euro Snapshot will be  Pain in the Neck, hosted by Camo.

The Snapshots are walk on events, so everyone is welcome - just turn up, choose a side and play.  :)

On Friday, the two http://www.topica.com/lists/AHSpecialEvent[/url] KOTHs take place; the Euro KOTH at 1600 Eastern (2100 UK/2200 CET), hosted by Seeker and the US KOTH at 2200 Eastern, hosted by BigMax.

Saturday is Frame 2 of our current scenario, Operation Iceberg – The Battle for Okinawa at 1500 Eastern.  This is a registered event but, as usual, walkons will be most welcome.  :)

Although CAP is taking a break, planning will still be going on during the scenario ready for it starting again, and anyone interested is welcome to contribute to the planning of either side.  See Swoop's private forum thread for details how to get involved.

Sunday SquadOps will restart with Stega's Saviour of Ceylon.  As BlkKnit is unable to make this frame, I will probably be Setup CM for Frame 1.  :)

To register your squad for the Friday and/or Sunday Squad Operations, post a message in the SquadOps Forum for now (while the events website is being relocated) and Ghostdancer will then get in touch to confirm registration and start dates.

Logs of all our events can be found here: http://www.webtreatz.com/tod/lognew.html

Although our events are usually posted on the Calendar, it is not always possible to keep it up-to-date for a variety of reasons, so I have also created an up-to-date calendar as a backup on my website:  http://www.flos.clara.net/storage/EventsCalendar.htm

Keep in touch with all our events by subscribing to the AH Special Events Email List by:
1. Sending an Email to AHSpecialEvent-subscribe@topica.com or
2. Going to the web site and registering - http://www.topica.com/lists/AHSpecialEvent
