I may be mistaken (happened once, long long ago
), but I believe the 262 and 234 have exactly the same engine. At least in the WarBirds emplementation of the 262, it climbed at a rather modest rate. It also took a gosh-awful lot of runway to take off, and accelerated rather slowly in level flight. Point its nose down, however, and it would rapidly pull away from anything. As both sims are drawing on similar if not identical data, I suspect AH's 262 to have similar flight mannerisms.
