There is no hell or heaven. He'll just die. The only satisfaction I can get out of it is that he may just realize it in a moment of panic when he dies.
I'm against the death penalty but sometimes it's oh so appropriate. I don't particularly like abortion either.
Even by his own twisted standards he broke the rules of his religion and the God he believes in. The commandment is:
Thou shalt not kill. (period)
Not Thou shalt not kill, except when you feel it's OK to kill people you disagree with.
That applies to the death penalty too.
If you ever need proof the religion is intrinsically evil, this is it. Believing in God is fine. In fact if you believe in God and obey the ten commandments, you can't go wrong. It's as simple as that.
All religions are invented by people. You can justify any evil as long as you call it your religion. We are coming up to the anniversary of something approved by a sect of one religion and carried out by devout members of that religion. Just how much proof is needed that religion is both dangerous and evil.
When's the last time gangs of atheists rampaged throught the streets killing and torturing religious people? No I can't think of an incident either.
