Well, with this type of nutcase, Christianity or Dungeons and Dragons, he'd have taken it to extreme regardless. Unfortunately he and some of the Domestic Terrorists that support him give religion a bad name as in the case of Extremist Islamics. Unfortunately the press only highlights the "bad" in religion, and we seldom see the "good" slip in the back door. (no pun intended)

There is no hell or heaven. He'll just die. The only satisfaction I can get out of it is that he may just realize it in a moment of panic when he dies.

I'm against the death penalty but sometimes it's oh so appropriate.  I don't particularly like abortion either.

Even by his own twisted standards he broke the rules of his religion and the God he believes in. The commandment is:

Thou shalt not kill. (period)

Not Thou shalt not kill, except when you feel it's OK to kill people you disagree with.

That applies to the death penalty too.

If you ever need proof the religion is intrinsically evil, this is it. Believing in God is fine. In fact if you believe in God and obey the ten commandments, you can't go wrong. It's as simple as that.

All religions are invented by people. You can justify any evil as long as you call it your religion.  We are coming up to the anniversary of something approved by a sect of one religion and carried out by devout members of that religion. Just how much proof is needed that religion is both dangerous and evil.

When's the last time gangs of atheists rampaged throught the streets killing and torturing religious people? No I can't think of an incident either.

You forgot "IMO"

How about if he has no panic because he believes the comfort of being with God *in his mind* will make it painless? Does that thought ruin your satisfaction?

The IMO is implied even though I know I'm right ;)  If I'm wrong I'll buy you a mug of celestial beer in pearly gate bar.  My one worry is that if he's right he'll be in a heaven that welcomes murderers and the ten commandments will be void.

Think about it!!!

Who knows what his mindset will be at the moment. In that case I will get satisfaction out of the fact that he no doubt supported the death penalty in life and has now paid the price.

I will also get satisfaction out of the fact that his cause was damaged by his actions.

You hit the nail on the head, and those are the same thoughts of the scum that flew planes into TWC.

And you are also right in the fact that people of faith who help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, and give hope to people who have lost their faith, are overlooked and their faith given a bad name by extremists.
