9/11 memorial flight in CT tonight

Was talking with my squaddies in JG3 yesterday and we are wanting to do some kind of memorial flight tonight in tribute to the victims of 9/11.  I know it sounds corny to some but the response was very positive and I am posting this to see what kind of feedback we would get.  If its mostly negative then JG3 will do something on our own.  I just wanted to let eveyone in the CT have a shot at this.  Well, what do you think?

10:30 EST.

A formation flight at 5k from West to East on the map. Allies and Axis together. Then a split to North for Allies aand South for Axis with one a/c climbing straight up in rememberence of those that passed in the 9/11 attack. Followed by a moment of silence.

I will open a base for Axis base near an Allied one in the West and we can join up and proceed.

When I did the climb out "Nearer My God To Thee" kept playing through my mind.  It was a moment that left me shaking.  Wish I could put it into words...

TO ALL THAT PARTICIPATED TONIGHT!

I would like that we all take a minute to remember those that were lost two years ago today in the 9/11 attacks. Those of the Fire and Police Depatments that were killed coming to the aid of their fellow man and those innocent civilians that were caught in this tragedy. But most of all the familys of the victims that are still coming to grips with their losses. For them we remember and keep them in our prayers.

SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 -  "WE WILL NOT FORGET!"


I would also like to thank my squaddies DIABLOTX for bringing the idea up and SPLURTS for the details of the flight. Also thanks goes to Stream14 from the 325th FG CHECKERTAILS and Hijacker from VF-27 HELLCATS for helping get it rolling.
GUYS!

Stream, if you do make something up, please post it here for all to see. If any individual has any good pics of the flight please post them here for all to see.
