Let me make somethings perfectly clear here.

- Holder has posted his ideas for "bomber wars" here on the BBS to get feedback from all the squads and to guage if the majority of squads are interested in trying it. We are also going to email all the squads to get their input and see if everyone is up for this.
We are not going to ram anything down the squads throats if the majority say no way.
- In Holder3 description you will see that for all 3 frames there is a mix of escorts and bombers:
Frame 1Ju88s, 109F4s, MC-202s
Hurricane IIs, Spitfire Vs, P-40Es.
Frame 2 (Night Battle)
Lancasters, Mosquitos
FW-190A5s, Bf-110s, Bf-109Gs
Frame 3B-17s, P-51Ds (maybe P-47-D30s)
Fw190Ds, some Me-262s, Bf109G10s, and maybe a few Me-163s
As you will see its not an all bomber force for either side in any of the frames. As for who gets assigned bombers that is up to each sides frame CiC. CMs do not choose who flies what or what missionis assigned. The frame CiC (selected Squad C.O.) does.
- Finally if any squad EVER pulls a no show because of the plane they are assigned don't bother showing up again. You will be inactivated from Squad Ops rosters and will not be able to participate as squad in any future squad op events.
I don't care for bombers either but I have flown my fair share in Squad Ops knowing that I could not hit the side of a barn. However, by signing up for Squad Ops it was understood (at least I thought it was) that sometimes you will get the primo rides and sometimes you won't.
If you were assigned bombers for all 3 frames you have a case. But to make a statement that if you are assigned bombers at all that you won't show is completely unacceptable.
If this behavior happens over flying bombers or because a squad is not assigned say, P51s, but instead gets P40s or A6M2s instead of N1K2s it will not be tolerated.
