Now here's the question: Is the game a sim, realistic as far as tactics and flight physics go?  Or is it just another arcade stlye fighter jet game?

Most of your questions can be answered here

Avionics are not going to be detailed like Flacon4(King of avionics) but FM will be better then Flanker2.5(king of FM).

I downloaded the demo, thought it was pretty cool, except I still think Jane's is better...anyway

The way they do cockpits brilliant.  Its like 2d but its 3d.  It basically works the same way those 360-degree cameras work....making it photo-realistic without having serious lag.

Ok folks, just to those of you who were asking:

YES, this is a VERY realistic flight sim. Each plane is as close as possible to the real thing. They had real A-10, F-15, and MiG 29 pilots testing it for them.

The demo is availabe at http://www.lo-mac.com

Just be sure to check out the system requirements first ;).

Yeah and there F-15 is a half prettythanged hybrid too.  Multiple things in the cockpit are incorrect including the MICP.  The whole package is a pretty much a test package with few upgrades.  The game does look good but they spent majority of their time on the Russian aircraft which is unfortunate.  Still looks pleasing to the eye though.

Well Cobra, hopefully there will be fixes for that later on, and new flyable AC, like that M2000. I'd love to fly the Mirage line of fighters, a largely overlooked family of combat jets in simulators.
