i dont see the two being the same
    i get annoyed when the US gets flamed all the time from other places, erks me to see that. but just my feelings, not to flame anyone

The modern British would never consider occupying a foreign land and forcing their will on an indigenous people for years on end. Oh, except for Ireland, of course.
