Trackir-5 Please Help

Good morning Members...I was hoping maybe someone here in Aces High could help me Please.  My wife bought me a trackir-5 for my 62 birthday on Sunday the 13th ....I am really getting old hehe..I got it working a little last night...I see that some of you have yours working good and thought Maybe you might Help this Old Man with His?  If you Don't mind Shairing your profile with me and any other Help that would be Great and you can always send me a email to snasur@cfl.rr.com  I Thank you Members for any Help you can give me.....Have a Great week..Sammie-Viper

Do a search on TrackIR and you will find a lot of Information and some of the profiles etc...

I'm not aware of a a single native track 5 profile up as of yet.

Here is the one I'm using, which is based on Mace's I believe. It's a track4 converted over to track 5 software...I don't know if it works with trackV hardware since I have 4.

I would suggest finding Mace's profile and working from there.

Be sure that the physical setup of the camera and reflectors allows tracking without any dead spots.

Check that you have the trackclip or reflector selected to match what you are using. The trackclip has the 3 LEDs.

I set speed to 1.6 and smoothing to 20. These are a personal preference, you might want to use different settings.

Look in your TrackIR/profiles folder.  Zip the profile you want and attach it to an email.

I dont use any profile, I use track IR 5 set to flight sim. and thats it.

I play with the smooth defaul profile except changed speed to 1.6 and smoothing to 20.  I also d/l maces profile but not used to it and makes me dizzy.  either way thanks for posting guys, game is so much fun with it.

Good morning.  First I want to Thank all of you here in Aces High that have Helped me with all my Question's and for the Profiles that were sent to me for my Trackir 5. from all of you. That was so very Kind of all of you.   I have a few more Questions that maybe someone could Please Help me with.   On my Trackir-5 does it have Vector tracking? or just Dot tracking mode?  With Trackir-5  is there a way that I can use the view settings that i have saved with F10 in Aces High for the different planes with my Trackir-5?  What I am trying to do is,   I would like if it is  possible in my Trackir 5 to move the gun sight up just a little or maybe the seat of the plane up a little in my Trackir 5?  I have tried Page up and Page down while i have my Trackir 5 on and that does not work.  I Thank All of you for any Help you can give me with this.  Have a Great Weekend and a Great 2010.  Sammie-Viper
