Obviously you are very wrong here again and proving your bias against me resulting from how you were judged in our duel as a limp wristed pilot.  So now you make up silly numbers and exaggerations to try and somehow prove you are better than I.    It's not working. :)

It takes a whole squad of them and with altitude advantage on top of that... and believe me, I brought plenty of muppets down during said period.   :joystick:

Midway, please do not sound bitter.  It only emphasizes your loss...and AK is right.  You lost a lot.  Its ok.  You weren't getting much help from the group you were flying with although I enjoyed my pwnage of you  :aok

I do admit to 6 picks and a splendid auger that I watched you do while you were absolutely alone and on the water.  But when we met co-alt at 9 over our base and at 5K away from yours, you were pwnt, Spit 8 to Spit 9.

Now, I am curious.  To all who reads this, which is the better Spit...the 8 or the 9 for engagements listed above.  Midway insists the 8 is worse than the 9.  I will take your answers as the truth.

I pwned Midway twice today.

Once in 109F v Spit8
Then again in a 109F v Spit9

I guess you could say I pwn Midway with substantial frequency

Since Midway continues to blather on about being better than 95% of all Aces High pilots…  And since he feels it is important to point out all his accomplishments and “the truth”, let’s do that.  Here’s the “truth”.

This tour Midway has:

NO KILLS in ANY other aircraft other than the Spit8 and Spit9.  (Unlike most players with his experience, he has never developed enough skill to successfully venture out in more than 1 aircraft type.)

380 fighter sorties, but only 47 were landed.   He's lost 328 Spits in 380 sorties.
(Unlike most players with his experience, he can’t even survive 80% of his sorties.)

328 LOSSES for only 225 kills (in 380 sorties).  Fighter against fighter, his wins vs. losses ratio is pitifully low, with 303 losses to fighters with only 184 kills of fighters.  (Unlike most fighter specialists with his experience, he can’t maintain even close to a 1:1 ratio of wins to losses).

Even without factoring in "score" (of which his is horrible) these actual combat results alone put Midway much closer to the bottom 5% than the top 5%.  Let the truth be known about Midway.  :old:

I’ll let the rest of you decide whether or not he’s been “PWND”.

You obviously weren't fighting fair and didn't tell him that you'd fly the Bf 109F the 2nd time.

Ryno,

While all of your facts are absolutely true, the one thing Midway DOES DO....is fight.  Its ugly, but he does it and that explains all of the crapola stats you posted.  It speaks to his style of play (which is a lot of people's) and throwing yourself at the pack is not the best way to survive.   It is cool though.

I'd rather be dead and cool, than alive and uncool.

I agree with you about his fighting style.  I know it well.

However, that doesn't excuse his claims, or explain away the fact that he looses FAR more than he wins.  The "crapola stats" simply demonstrate that fact.  (Notice I didn't say "score", which is absolute crapola.)

There are many pilots who fly that way, who regularly throw themselves into one vs. many situations.  But they maintain a 1:1 kill ratio or higher.  In fact, the better of these usually take 2 or 3 with them before they get shot down.  Midway isn't even close to that level, though he continues to claim to be in the top 5%.  He simply isn't.

I'm not attacking his style of play.  I'm just saying he's not very good at it.  And he's far worse at it than he claims to be.
