A couple of fights I had in the P39. Very underestimated, it approaches a 3500 fpm climb when light and can turn about as well as a spit.

No.  It's one of MANY skills you must master....all of which have equal validity and importance.  Situational awareness, ALL aspects of ACM, historical tactics, gunnery skills, etc.   

This is assuming, of course, one is interested in this game for the simuation of historical air combat.  If all one is interested in is the "gaming" aspect,  "pwning" others on occation, rediculing others who use historical combat tactics, complaining about "unfairness" and beating their chests....well....then yes, you are likely correct.

Always amazes me how people claim the P40C to be a "POS" and "worst plane in game" yet it takes about 4 or 5 Uber late war Performance monsters to finally wrestle the mighty p40 down.

First get your facts right, It's over 3 months ago maybe I haven't been on but if you call that resent OK then. And in what deranged world do you live in where you see a 1 on 1, you just hoed me that's all.
If you really want to see some 1 on 1 the down load the asss whipping I gave you in the DA that was really 1 on 1. Oh and btw I think its time I give you another one in the DA.

Can you guys please remove the above comments and take the purse fight somewhere else. If you have a problem with a fight someone else posted than your best bet is to send a PM politely asking them to take it down

If your going to post a fight that's meant to antagonize others than perhaps it should have its own separate thread, or better yet maybe it shouldn't be posted at all.

I actually posted it because it showed a nice reversal and how to get a snapshot on someone with much more alt and E than you. There was no other intention.

What historical tactics do you use?...I'm generally interested because judging by the times I've seen your flying I'd say you don't know how to implement any sort of flying tactic in the game.

I'll say this, I started this game BnZing...I probably had a higher K/D at the time...but put me in a position of disadvantage where I couldn't run away with my built up E I most likely was dead. Now, after a lot of getting my butt kicked by upping at vulched fields, when my SA fails I have a lot higher chance of actually winning that fight.

Don't know where you get that I don't think all parts of the air combat are important in their own way....if you ever would like to fly historical match ups with me, let me know I'm all for that....my favorite fight to be in is a 152 vs bomber w/ escort raid...any pig will confirm that.

Pretty generic.
As to the purse fights I agree completely. There is no need to get this shut down through the rampant inanity provided by the countless other threads here. I am enjoying watchig these and wish I had some of myself to post because they will certainly provide insight on the countless ways in which to shoot me down. I just never take the time to record (I know. One letter) or all the rest it entails. Some very good shots in here and I would like them to keep being added. Everyone gets shot down. So everyone could end jp in someone elses vid. If it is as intended per the title, a good duel or 1v1, then this is the place.
BTW dont misinterpret this. I am not saying any of that is posted in this thread. If it is I have not seen it yet. As I said at the outset, some goods shots in here.
