I'm sick of the snow

Well its snowing again in pennslytucky again and we are in a state of emergency. This is the second time in a week that i have to spend a night or two in a darned hotel. I have to remember to take my vacation around this time next year so I dont get hit like this again. But Ohhhhh well at least they have internet access... so I can bother everyone on the boards....  :neener: :neener: :neener:

my understanding was that they declared the emergency last night.

 it snowed most of the night here in the peoples republic of nj....then freezing rain this morning,.,......now snowing again. less than 1/4 mile vis right now.

We have about 3 feet Here already. It sucks too because my Modern warfare 2 just shattered inside of my XBOX.
Thank god the only that was damaged was the disk. Now, thanks to the snow, I won't be getting out of the house for a while  :o

OMG! It rained here yesterday and this morning it was 48 degrees in Southern California.  Damn it's cold!  :x

I live in Northern VA suffering this double-storm, good luck to all those who are partially buried alive... from now on, I dont think I'll ever call it snow again, I'll call it "stuff to shovel"   :D

Roads are pretty crappy here, should be a pleasure driving home after work.  Good thing I only have to travel 3 miles.

Im in PA myself ( up near Allentown ), 18" here and still snowing. Looks like were getting what Cap got this weekend. Heavy stuff is supposed to arrive in the next couple of hours.  :confused:  Heavy stuff is supposed to arrive? What the *&%$@ was the first 18" the light stuff? :furious

Y'all can have it. We got 12' in 5 days a few years back. It's someone else's turn now.

Though the event at Mt. Vernon that I was supposed to be participating in is canceled because of the weather, but the early in the year events always seem to be.

it lightened up here a bit, but looking on noaa's site, we're still in the middle of the system....and it's swirling and not going anywhere.....it sounds like pretty much all the highways in pa are shut down..........

at least you dont need to drive two paper routes in this stuff overnight...  :furious in a frigging mercury grand marquis too. whyyy cant it have 4wd!!!
