Union Pacific took back for trade, Big Boy steam engine #4014 from the Pomona Fair Grounds for restoration. Currently Big Boy is at the Union Pacific West Colton rail yard at Bloomington, California for light maintenance before it heads out to Cheyenne, Wyoming for full restoration.

This weekend only Saturday, February 8 and Sunday, February 9, you can visit Boy Boy for the last time before it leaves the state of California until 2022 (Pomona Fair 100th anniversary)

Union Pacifc Big Boy will not be burning any coal. From what I understand, the tender will be carrying some type of oil called Oil type #5 to replace coal.
