  Me too.  :D

We used Trains in the states to bring our Japanese friends to sunny California.

A crowd of onlookers in Seattle jam an overhead walk to witness the mass evacuation of Japanese from Bainbridge Island, Washington, on March 30, 1942. Somewhat bewildered, but not protesting, some 225 Japanese men, women and children were taken by ferry, bus and train to California internment camps. The evacuation was carried out by the U.S. Army. January 26, 2014

Union Pacific took back for trade, Big Boy steam engine #4014 from the Pomona Fair Grounds for restoration. Currently Big Boy is at the Union Pacific West Colton rail yard at Bloomington, California for light maintenance before it heads out to Cheyenne, Wyoming for full restoration.

This weekend only Saturday, February 8 and Sunday, February 9, you can visit Boy Boy for the last time before it leaves the state of California until 2022 (Pomona Fair 100th anniversary)

The Greenies won't like all that black smoke from the 20 tons/hr of coal consumed.

Union Pacifc Big Boy will not be burning any coal. From what I understand, the tender will be carrying some type of oil called Oil type #5 to replace coal.

This, she's an oilburner now. I read about the pending transfer to Wyoming a few weeks ago and I'm very hyped. Can't wait to see her under steam again.
