No Eagler,
What it shows is that some people will always mistake dissent for disloyalty, and use that to attack honest, well-intentioned people.
As for being anti-Christian, the problem would come from merely pointing out that those religious, militaristic nationalists in America who proclaim their Christianity most loudly are in fact a bunch of blasphemers who again & again misunderstand, misrepresent, and ignore what Jesus taught.
Expose the hypocriscy of today's Pharisees like Jesus did in his day, and you won't be around long on the air.
So, you haven't noticed that our "Christian" leaders don't seem to have many Christian attributes?
Jesus was clearly against the death penalty; in the case of the adultress about to get stoned to death according to Old Testament law, Jesus intervenes and stops the execution, saying, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."
If Christians are supposed to follow Jesus' example, how could a true Christian serve in the military? I mean, can you imagine Jesus taking bayonet or grenade practice, much less actually killing someone? A sign at an anti-war rally said it well: "What would Jesus bomb?"
I'm sure this post will open a flood gate of criticism. You can imagine that no sponsor would put me on the air.
