Being overly sensitive is hard work.
« on: October 30, 2003, 08:51:20 PM »
So I log into AH the other day, and… that’s it!
No automated:"Welcome to Aces High eskimo! Please have a pleasant time pretending to kill bad guys.  Thank you for gracing us with your presence, kind sir."
I couldn’t believe it.  I’m just sitting there in the tower, all by myself.
No one even says, "Hi!"
How in the world can an online flight sim expect to stay in business without a tower-greeter.  Had a virtual senior citizen welcomed me when I first arrived in the tower, I think I would have felt a lot better and wouldn’t have to post on the BB how awful it made me feel to be virtually ignored.

How rude.

I got the hearty welcome of a long lost brother and the dozen roses were beautiful.

However, the coffee was a tad bit on the cool side and the eggs benedict? Definitely cold!

I'll be watching this stuff more closely.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

You just have a ten millimeter measuring tape drop outa the monitor everytime you die, crash or rtb to measure your peepee with. :lol

My Peepee[/b]
(Sung to the tune of "My Ding-A-Ling" by Chuck Berry)

When shane was
a little bitty boy
his mommy bought him a brand new toy
a joystick to hook to his pc
hoping he would let go of his peepee

little did she realize
that once shane took to the virtual skies
the joystick he held so tightly
had just replaced his widdle peepee

oh his peepee
yeah his peepee
every minute or so
measures his peepee

now shane's learned a trick or two online
he flies like a bird, he shoots so fine
he racks up kills very quickly
gives him more time to measure his peepee

oh his peepee
yeah his peepee
every minute or so
measures his peepee

he knows he's great, can kill his foes
he's just not quite sure everyone knows
so he grew another hand to type
non-stop smack and lots of hype

oh his peepee
yeah his peepee
every minute or so
measures his peepe

if you shoot down shane you'll find
you're a hovulchtardganger in his whine
"Cause nobody can shoot down the great me!
After all, take a look at MY PEEPEE!"

oh his peepee
yeah his peepee
every minute or so
measures his peepe

But when you try to emulate
his particular style ... better wait
learn just where to draw the line
you can kill without the whine

and if you measure your peepee
someone may sneak up, you see
and shoot you down while you're measuring
then you'll hear shane himself start to sing

Oh YOUR peepee
yeah YOUR peepee
I caught you measuring your own peepee!

oh his peepee
yeah his peepee
every minute or so
measures his peepee

:D

Pure genius Arlo!

I feel better now.

Hitech, can you make a virtual Arlo to be the tower greeter?
I want him to sing a little ditty like this when I log on.
What a warm-n-fuzzy way to start a session that would be.

(Flowers and coco certainly wouldn’t hurt either.)

Eskimo's a wussy.

And a wimp whiner, LA-7 dweeb and occasional Niki driver.  All around puss, imo.:D

And now, he has the audacity to come in here and complain.  I can't believe it.

Edit:  Please take this as a joke Eskimo.  No harm intended.

You ask me about this maligned treatment?

Well, it goes like this.....Most pay the ordinary subscription fee each month...some of us take advantage of the Bonus Subscription Packages....they include tower greetings, bonus compliments beginning at engine start-up, followed by a series of WTG's and Nice Kill kudos from HT himself.

Granted, some of you may not need this bonus encouragement...me personally, I need my hand held every step of the way.

to Hitech and his crew....doers of good deeds all of them!
