i think any plane that was in production and in squad service
before end of ww2, should be in AH. but planes like the F8F-1
would be some of the last to be added after the more
produced, and used 1s.

Delieveries of the F8F-1s commenced before the war ended and carrier qualification trials looked set to be completed before the war with Japan ended.  In the event the A-bomb strikes curtailed operational deployment of the F8F-1s Beatcat during Second World War.  Which, F8Fs Beacar entry the service in sometime mid-January 1943 and very highly manoeuvrable...............th e F8F bearcat would have decimated the Japanese.

Two squadrons, VF-18 and VF-19 were equipped with F8F-1s, and training was expedited in order to get the new fighter into service against Japanese suicide attack planes in the Pacific. VF-19 was onboard the carrier USS Langley, enroute across the Pacific, when the war ended on August 16, 1945.

Yup, Bearcat didnt go the combat but it did entry the service during 1943 and it was so close to enter combat of WWII.  Well, It is up to Pryo and the rest of the HTC staff to bring Grumman Bearcat F8F-1 to future Aces High Flight sim combat.  :)

I bet some discovered the fun of flying something they either had either no or a very casual knowledge of before they played.

I think part of the fun of a WWII based online air combat sim can be that of discovery and education. If we limit it to just the planes 100% of the potential customer base is familiar with then it's time to break out the axes and start cuttin' back. :D
