Uninstall old version before loading new?

Tried unistalling old version and reinstalling new version.
It did nothing to get rid of text blocks.

did you guys try deleating the video8.cfg file in the ah2 settings folder ???

Only my opinion but I would think a fresh install after deleting the old would be the best way.
I may go overboard but I even do a defrag after the old has been removed.
[ That was until my computer started to reboot in the middle of defragging     but that's a matter for a different post. ]
