Call of Duty rocks.

It gets so intense at times you wonder why the FPS don't drop, and if it was that mad. Combat house to house was though I guess.

It's intense. Buy it.

unfortunately I'm victim to the ever parent  ATI crash bug. No matter what settings or drivers my game will crash 5-6 mins in any level during single player... but I can play all night in multiplayer.. go figure. I've only gotten as far at the beginning of the car ride.

I'm just going to wait for a patch or driver update before I try the single player campaigns.

COD rocks. have you tried the dawnville demo yet? I'm playing it at the highest difficulty level and get killed right away, but at least it makes the experience realistic. (u know, one bullet could kill you and most likely put you out of action in real life)

udet they're talking about the full retail version.  it was just released a few days ago!

I have yet to buy it... maybe in a few weeks when funds permit :)  Red Orchestra rocks.  I saw Saurdaukar and Makarov in a game the other night.  Mak naded me a few times and my feelings were hurt :(

How is H&D2 coming along?  I hope it's not as bugged as the original :)  Does it play relatively teh same as the first?

Hmm I found the CoD offline demo with max difficulty to be boringly easy compared to online games. Enemy actually dies when you point and shoot at them.

H&D2 is really really good. The graphics are top notch and teh game play is near the orginal. Alot of Warbirds in that game too.. though you cant fly em...yet.

I see mak in RO almost nightly. I finally caught Saur in a game.. unfortuantly he was caught up in the  bayonet  attached = bad accuracy arguments running rampant in that game.

Is it multiplayer?

Not too keen on that web-site...bt it looks and sounds awesome.

I thought about picking up H & D 2.

Which would you reccomend buying first, H & D 2 or CoD?

Well the COD campaign is really quick. The multiplayer is way to fast ( quake sytle ), the maps are incredible along with the textures but the game play is lacking compared to RO which will spoil you with their version of iron sight gaming. Personally I'm hoping for some realism mods with redone player/weapons models. Acutally when I think about it its just a redone MOHAA with iron sights. The squad teamwork gimmick gets old when you realize the bots run scripted paths and do the samething ie: console gaming. "Call Of Duty -scenes stolen from movies"
I don't see the realism when you unload a clip into an enemy and they just flap their arms and get back up and you have to shoot them again.

H&D2 of course is sqaud based tactical but there is an option to play online with up to 32 in deathmatch and cop games.

Try the COD demos... thats pretty much what you get in the retail plus the multiplayer aspect which I tired from fast.

COD is boring.. however HD2 is nice!
There needs to be more games following the lines of HD2 rather than COD.

I think this is a obvious question but RO is just a mod right?  Not the actual game?  I need Unreal tournament 2003 to add it?
