np.....btw, out of curiosity, what could you afford to pay in Australia for Aces High?

Monthly, hourly........?

I remember one post on here from a player in Europe who indicated that $30/month U.S. represented almost 25% of his monthly income.  Perhaps the fee structures of all of these on-line games are directed primarily at a U.S. audience and their associated standard of living only.

In other words, you could pay approximately $15/month U.S.

I guess a good compromise would be a bi-weekly rate of $15 U.S. or a weekly rate of $7.50/week U.S., which adds to the administrative burden of HTC, but if it's automated it shouldn't be a difficult thing to implement.

Anyway, hope you can rejoin us at some time in the future.

Cost of living surely is a funny thing - I'm sending my parents $100/month. That's ~2.5 times of their combined monthly income... I wouldn't even dare to tell them how much I'm paying for my flying/hangarage, AH and other "non-essentials" - they wouldn't understand it.

hey raven,

as 1776 has mentioned, you can still play AH for free...  just click on the H2H areana and select a game to play... if you don't see one you're interested in, start your own...  hate ta see you leave, but don't want you to take advantage of the free 2 weeks also... i'm a paying customer from canada and like badger said, the $30 USD turns up to be $42-50 CDN per month (thats like buying a new game every month!!!)

Stick to H2H if you want to be playing for free
