Looking for a squad.
« on: November 03, 2003, 11:22:30 PM »
Hello,

My name is Jeremy; I am 25, married, with a 7 year old son. I'm a programmer by day and a wannabie pilot by night. I have been playing aces high for about 3 months now and would consider myself an intermediate pilot. I have flown several Flight Sims in the past (Air warrior, Jane’s WWII Fighters, I-L2, wwiionline, and warbirds briefly) and feel I have a solid grasp of WWII fighter tactics.

I'm looking for a organized squad and enjoy flying in a structured group. I would like to better my skills and possibly learn new aircraft and tactics. So far I have enjoyed flying the NIK, P-38, P51, and Spitfire. But, I am open to any Fighter/Attacker plane.

Hey Loonatik! !

Give Jagdgeschwader 3 "UDET" a look see.

We are a German Fighter Squad (JG) and have a very well organized set-up and structured command. We always try to fly several different organized missions each squad night and you won't find a better bunch of guys to fly with.

Check out our website by clicking the link below on my signature or our recruiting tread elsewhere here on the Squadrons Forum.

If you would like to ask any questions please feel free to drop me a line at the e-mail link on my signature.

GOOD LUCK AND FINDING THE RIGHT SQUAD !

I run a structured squad and have openings for leadership right now.

Please visit http://wingedraiders.com/aceshigh.htm

Please check out the training area and the forum to say hello.

You are also welcome to email me at pyroman@i2k.com and we can hook up in the MA and you can try us on for size.

With your experience in WWII Sims you might be just what I'm looking for.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Check out the 339th FG. Our primary roll is field attack in heavy P51s. For the most part we are a pretty lose group but when we run missions we are very orgainized and all business. We fly our squadnights on Sunday nights in the MA and we fly the squad ops series on Fridays in the SEA.

For the most part we have a few guys on every night. If you want to check us out switch to rooks and tune channel 139. Somebody should be on.

Loonatik,

We would be glad to have you. Our Squad nights are Tuesday 9:00 PM EST in the MA and Thurs. 9:30 PM EST in the Dueling arena, after all we all need practice,  also train against other squads here.
We fly Friday night Tour of Duty and most special events. The squad is not assigned a specific ride, we use what is necessary to accomplish the mission (kill Bishops and Rooks).
As far as structure goes we have a chain of command and ranks are awarded by participation. On the other hand we will fly a mission that any one in the squad suggest and that is a good idea and planned well regardless of rank.

If interested contact us in the MA or me at ybej@optonline.net
Our web page is http://www.68thLightningLancers.tk
